The housing market in Duluth is down, however, not as bad as the rest of the country. Duluth home values are down roughly 4% from last year. We are more of a service community in Duluth and we strive because of our hospitals, colleges, and shopping options that we offer. Selling a home in this market may be little more challenging than it used to be but as long as Sellers are realistic with their pricing and are willing to make their home stand out amongst its competition they will be just fine. If you are buying a home now is a great time to do so. There's a lot of inventory so there are many options for new buyers. Loan interest rates are very low and also there are great programs for first time home buyers!
